One Killed, One Injured In Johnston County I-40 Crash

More sad news out of Johnston County today as another report of a horrific car accident has emerged.

According to reports, one person was killed Wednesday evening in an accident that closed all lanes of 1-40 near the 322 mile marker in Johnston County. Officials say that around 5 pm, a vehicle overturned in the median, killing one person and seriously injuring another person, who was cut the wreckage and airlifted to WakeMed Hospital. The cause of the accident and the condition of the injured party are still unknown.
