GARNER -- Police are still searching for a hit and run driver whose vehicle struck a teen pedestrian Sunday night.

"We have no new information," Sgt. Chris Clayton with the Garner police said today. "No new tips or leads."

Emergency workers transported the victim, Dominique Ferrell, 16, of Raleigh to WakeMed, where she was treated for her injuries and released, police reported.

The accident occurred just after 9 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of E. Main Street, police reported.

Investigators are looking for the driver of a blue, four door Honda with tinted windows. Police think the car may have been driven by a Hispanic male, according to a police department press release.

Anyone with information on the possible identity or location of the suspect vehicle or driver is asked to call the Garner Police Department at (919) 772-8870. Garner Crimestoppers is offering a cash reward of $250.00 for information leading to an arrest in this case.
