Hit and Run Accident in CARY, N.C.
Police are searching for a suspect in a hit and run accident that happened Sunday morning.
According to the State Highway Patrol, two cars were driving east on I-40 near Harrison Avenue around 2:13 a.m. when a Lexus sedan rear-ended a Geo Prism.
Officials say the Lexus was traveling at more than 90 mph when it struck the other vehicle.
The driver of the Prism, 49-year-old Jimmy Brown is being treated for a broken neck, but hospital representatives say he is not paralyzed.
Highway Patrol believes the driver of the Lexus got out of the vehicle and may have been picked up by another vehicle.
At this time, police do not have the suspect's identity.
