5 Car Accident in Denver, NC

DENVER, NC - A wreck on Highway 16 near Triangle circle damaged five cars and sent three elderly women to the hospital on Thursday evening.

East Lincoln Fire Department responded to the accident scene with Engine 32, Truck 34 and other vehicles along with the North Carolina Highway Patrol and Lincoln EMS.

No one involved in the accident suffered life threatening injuries.

The accident caused traffic to come to a halt for miles until emergency crews could remove the cars from the roadway.
